  • How often do you clean burn your UDS?

My BDS was looking super sad inside so I figured I'd run a clean burn... but then this happened now my BDS is an official UDS.

            Hi Kelly,

I've never done a clean burn in any of my UDSs after they were built. After each cook I would wipe/scrape the excess grease off the bottom that may have missed the ash pan but never worried about what was on the sides.

You can refinish it. A little sandpaper and elbow grease. And like Dave says- scrape it out when ya see scrapin’s in there.

Or..go total UDS It still works, lady.
