Hang on, arn't you missing something here - your son IS A FABRICATOR - you want a shiny new smoker. Christmas is (I know I Know, I hate myself for mentioning it) only 4 months away :-)
Why don't you buy the bits and he build it for your you for christmas ?
That way you get what you want and get to hang out with your son criticisin- uh, supervising :-)

Yeah, I know, between his job and him building ratrods for/with his brothers-in-law I can't even get a project in edgewise. I keep telling him that winter is coming and I really need him to rebuild/replace the engine on my snowthrower. Around here used propane tanks are immediatly busted up for scrap metal.

I guess I should have reworded my question to "What have you done to make using the Lang easier?"

Rich, dry/wet humping a Lang?! You know, there are alternatives that are less embarrassing and prolly a little easier on your junk...

I always thought the term was "Pumping iron" not "humping iron".
