    Congrats Detroit Lions fans!

    In an earlier thread I mentioned that this team is for real. All of us that follow the NFL know that a couple of years you went winless and were the butt of many jokes. Well, look who's laughing now. You won the last 4 games of last season, went 4-0 this preseason, and just blew out 2 young playoff teams of last season to start this one. All I can say is "way-to-go" and it's great to have you back! 10 in a row guys...this team is good and is a contender.

    GO LIONS!!! And I'm an Eagles fan!
    Lang 36 Patio, a few Webers, 2 Eggs, plenty of gadgets and a MES 40 Gen 2.5 electric for bacon and sausage.
    My best asset however is the inspiration from the members on this forum.

        I'm extremely happy for the Lions as I've been a fan all my life through thick and thin. But it's too early to get too confident in them. Granted they have a lot more talent than other years and in some areas they are pretty deep in talent BUT they haven't played the Packers, Vikings or Bears yet and you can't always count on a win in our division no matter the teams win loss record. I know we beat the Packers once last year, but the Bears beat us twice. We also have to face the Saints, the Chargers, The Falcons and the Cowboys yet. No easy schedule.

            Okay, but remember, every year there is a team that comes out of nowhere, and this year it's the Lions. Mark my words.

              It is nice to see them play as well as they have been. One game at a time.As for the Vikings next week at the Metro-dome,well The Lions have never done very well their! what the Lions can hope to look forward to is that Donovan McNabb continues to struggle and the lions take full advantage of that. "Go Lions"

                All joking aside, I really hope the Lions have a great year. I'm not a football fan by any stretch, but I hate seeing all my friends depressed and dismayed year after year. So in that spirit, Go Lions!
