    We went and bought two bags of fresh shrimp(large) devained and tail on. two bags of limes (sams) two med small yellow onions,14 habenero peppers.

    Brought a big pot of water to a roaring boil. blanched the shrimp for 15 seconds dumped em in a colander and poured ice water over them then ran cold water on them till cool.
    had the limes squeezed and juice set aside, minced the onions and the Habs put in a large glass bowl. Tsp of ocean salt in it.
    then the shrimp after we cut in to smaller piece went in and mixed it up. Then cover with lime juice.mixed again.
    It filled 4 quart mason jars, put wax paper on the top of the jars and sealed. into the ice Bx until tonight. bought a bx of fresh saltines and a six pack of modelo. an orederb before chow time. Boy child gobbles 1/2 a jar at a settin. photos to follow. he he he.

        It tasted better then expected. the habs gave a nice heat to the cerviche. as it always does. the onions were fresh and added to the flavors. We wanted to make fish cerviche also. But, ll there seemed to be was from china. packaged there are something from there. Not happening at the den. They used to get flash frozen white fleshed fish from alaska. have not seen that for a while, when we do we purchase and make a beer batter, slaw and FF always hits the spot.
