I should say that i did have to have the drive gear fitted for the 12mm shaft.
so which stuffer do you have with which motor??? just curious as to the mods you made to make it work, sounds like you are using the green motor? which has the splined shaft. the green motor is the clutchless one which was removed from market somewhere around 2009(guessing)... also has the splined shaft.

well i guess i wasnt too happy about a stuffer advertised as commercial grade ending up with these problems. but just want to say, cabelas and weston do supply alot of product used by members here. mostly without issues. but like Rich said, food saftey here is priority.

Hi, I took the gear out of the motor and the spline bored at the shop. It really is easy to do. You have to take the stuffer gear shaft off the stuffer. Then disassemble the motor and remove the spline. Bore the spline to match the gear shaft of the stuffer.

The motor is the green one. And the stuffer is a horizontal 25lb Leonardi. From Italy.
