  • Savory Pork Loin Sauces

Well the wife is not a fan of sweet and meat... enjoys savory favors more. I have a bunch of pork loins down in the freezer and was think of doing one with a finishing sauce.

Do you all have any good savory sauces out there that go well with a pork loin? recipes attached as well would be great. Sometimes you get in a rut, just want to try something different.

    Thanks folks!

    Try Al Pastor Marinade
This type of marinade has tons of flavor.

I have both made my own and utilized the following Al Pastor marinade that I have used on Pork Shoulder but it should work well on Pork Loin.

Here is the store bought type:
Al Pastor Marinade by Frontera Foods (you can find on online sites like Amazon)

I could not find the original recipe I used, but this one is similar:

I really love the good old pan gravy... Don't know how much trimming the loins need..but those can be pan roasted to get some nice fond and juices.

Sage, rosemary, thyme, coriander, and strangely enough even some oregano along with salt/pepper/butter are my go to's for this type of sauce/gravy.

      Play with yer food!

Im the biggest "don't need no sweet with my meat" guy around...
But pork is one meat that can handle a bit of sweet and turn out great...

I happen to love a great mushroom sauce with roasted/grilled/smoked pork...Simple and savory...

Really enjoyed the blood orange reduction sauce I made a couple years back...More tart than sweet...

Ill see if I can find the link...
