  • A couple of Super Bowl Eve fatties

Just getting warmed up for Super Bowl Sunday so Bbqgoddess smoked a couple of these:

Muffaletta Fattie. Start with Olive Tapenade followed by Genoa Salami, Provolone Cheese, Soprasetta, Havati Cheese, and Proscuttio. Rolled it up and put the homemade bacon from last week on top and smoked.

Next up is the BBQ Bacon Assplosion as inspired from the NY Times discovery of the fattie!

Grilled Onions, Homemade Bacon, and BBQ Sauce. Rolled and smoked without a bacon wrap.

Here are the two fatties plated:

And here is the entire spread including two beer butt chickens, funeral potatoes, and sauted rosemary squash (after everyone started digging in!):

              Funeral Potates

              Hi there Sweet Magnolia!
              Here they are...

              1 bag tater tots thawed
              1 reg size sour cream
1 can cream of chicken soup
Cheese (prolly 2 cups) usually I use chedder but you can mix it up..

Mix it all together, put it in a 13 x 9 sprayed with oil. Bake at 375 till bubbly and a little browned.
They reheat really well, I think that is why they are called "funeral" potatoes.
              Happy Smokes

what are tater tots and how many do you get in a bag ?
and how big is a 'regular size' pot of sour cream ?

Looks like an interesting recipe - easy to make and differently tasty :-)
Just need to have some idea what tater tots are first lol

Tater tots are kinda like a compact hash brown... just shredded potatoes and they come in a bag that you could probably get 4-5 servings of about 6 tots each....that's my best guess at serving size anyway
