Homemade Italian Sweet Coffee Cream

  • 1.5 tsp. almond extract (or ½ TBSP.)

  •  3 tsp. vanilla extract (or 1 TBSP.)

  •  1 C. whipping cream (234 grams)

  •  1 C. ½ & ½ (248 grams)

  • 7 oz. (or ½ can) sweetened condensed milk (198 grams)


  1. Combine ingredients in the order listed above into a 1 quart Mason jar or other sealable container. Measuring by weight (grams) will yield better flavor.

  2. Use a whisk or long handled spoon and stir about 1 minute to combine.

  3. Seal container and then gently shake side to side until well mixed. Gently shake side to side to remix before each use.



*This recipe will make approximately 1.5 pints of creamer which will keep refrigerated up to 14 days. Depending on how much coffee is consumed daily 3 pints can be made by doubling each ingredient.

*Working quickly and freezing your mixing container before starting will aid in keeping the finished creamer fresh. If a separate container will be used to store the creamer chill it well first by refrigerating it for 30 minutes before starting.



*To prepare plain creamer omit the almond extract, use regular whipping cream, half & half, sweetened condensed milk and reduce vanilla extract to ½ tsp. This can then be used as a base for most all other flavored cream recipes.

*This recipe is far healthier than commercial coffee creamer which is nearly always 100% artificial. Single serve packets of powdered creamer are an excellent accelerant for starting an emergency fire. It is highly flammable due to its chemical nature and I always carry a few deer hunting for just that reason.
