  • A Breakfast Fatty at the Lake

This is my first post in awhile. I followed Rich over here from facebook. lol I'm not sure where to post this, please move or delete if needed. Thanks!

Went camping last week and for some reason I have never made a breakfast fatty while camping. Just make them at home. After seeing a friend's last camp pics last month, I decided to take my little fatty piston with me and whip one up.

I made the stuffing using fried tatoe, onion, ham, cheese, pepper... (my favorite)

    used my stainless piston...

used my same ole bacon wrap..

I made this the day before, wrapped it and left it in the ice chest overnight.

into my charcoal cooker the next morning.. just lit coals around the sides and put a drip pan in the center.

started a fire in the tractor rim..

    made my hollandaise..

the fatty was cooked but I wanted the bacon to be crispier. I love crisp bacon...
easiest way to crisp bacon was to bring out the flame thrower. :)

a couple of passes with the flame and the bacon was just right.

fried some eggs and toasted the English muffins..

    breakfast was ready...

Tasted good at the time. :)

    Thank you for looking!

I can't find the post, but there was one I made about Cowgirl in response to similar comment. It was "I have no doubt she could out-cook me with her curling iron". And that's no bull sheet.

There are a few blogs I follow, and yours is certainly one of them. I can't say I've ever made a fattie before (sad, I know..), but something I want to try at some point.
