Ha! Its just brittle with beer instead of water.
Here it is...
Beer brittle:
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup of your favorite beer
1 cup of light corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
3 Tbsp. Soft butter
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 Cups of nuts (your choice)
In heavy saucepan heat sugar, syrup, beer on MEDIUM heat until 270 F. (Soft crack), stirring occasionally.
Add nuts. Cook and stir until mix reaches 300 F. (Hard crack)
Remove from heat. Quickly stir in butter an vanilla. Add baking soda and stir VIGOROUSLY.
Quickly pour and spread onto waxed sheet. Let cool completelysigpicSmoke meat, not crack

I didnt realize there were so many candy heads here. I need some help making fudge. Im not talkin about the marshmallow slop condensed milk crap. I mean real, cocoa, butter, sugar fudge. My grandfather could bust it out like silk. I have his exact same recipe here on a yellowed stained index card, but I just cant do it. Ive tossed at least 20 batches. Ive tried it many ways, i dont know what it is? I remember he used a certain pan every time. Was it the pan? Or maybe it was that any piece of chocolate a grandfather hands a child is something that child will never forgetsigpicSmoke meat, not crack

That recipe used to be on the back of the Hershey's cocoa container. There are some special treatments for sure. Read here:
